the Father,
the Word,
and the Holy Ghost:
and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth,
the Spirit,
and the water,
and the blood:
and these three agree in one.
1 John 5:7,8
Analysis in light of the Sanctuary:
* The Trinity/Godhead gives themselves a role in each compartment:
Outer Court (Justification) the Son
Inner Court (Sanctification) the Spirit
The Most Holy Place (Glorification if one passes their judgment) the Father
* The plan of Redemption is the outer/inner court that one must pass through before the Judgment in the Most Holy Place. So all 3 have a part in the Justification/Sanctification process as well if we look closer in detail.
1) Outer Court SON
a) The Son with His blood sacrifice upon the altarb) Water which washes away symbolically sin / brazen laver. He is the one who will use the blood of Christ in the judgment to blot out your sin (wash them away).
2) Inner Court SPIRIT
a) The Spirit through Sanctification (the furniture representing a changed life - altar of incense/prayer, table of bread/study of His Word & 7 branch candlestick/witnessing).
b) Even here we see the Altar of Incense = Prayer to the Father.... Table of Bread is not just the Bread of His Word, but Christ also referred to himself as the Bread of Life....And then the 7 Branch Candlestick of witnessing by the oil of the Holy Spirit.
3) Most Holy Place FATHER
a) Judgment before the Father. Upon the Mercy Seat over the Ark of the Covenant containing the Law of God - His written WORD by His own Finger.
b) Where the High Priest would bring the blood to sprinkle.
